a rightly timed pause

So I’m checking my news feed on facebook this morning, and I see that some friends have added a new app called FriendFeed. Curious, i click around the internets a bit to find out what it does. And to no surprise, it’s a social media aggregator that scrapes your content from around the web and dumps it all into one place for the world to view.

And I’m thinking to myself, hmmm, that’s pretty fucking familiar (http://neurokinetikz.org)

I also discover that it’s run by a few ex-Googlers and has raised $5 million in Series A funding.

Fortunately though, it appears that FriendFeed et al. still haven’t grokked the concept of dimensions and navigating through them.

Perhaps it’s time to dust off that old code …
